2008 Tenby Pembrokeshire

In 2008 the Colts had their first “international” trip when they went west across the border into Wales. It was a poor summer weather-wise that year but on the June weekend the lads went to Tenby in Pembrokeshire the sun shone throughout and it was a fantastic weekend away. Staying in the Kiln Park holiday park behind the sand dunes of the north beach the lads had a fantastic beach party on the Saturday evening which went on long into the night with plenty of games and fun on the beach and a great BBQ. On the Sunday the lads visited the top class Oakwood theme park and had a wild time on all of the rides. Football wise the Colts played two local teams, the rather impressive Tenby Utd that had seven academy players in their ranks from Cardiff & Swansea City who gave the lads a bit of a drubbing and Lamphey United who also beat us. However despite the results it was a great weekend away with some great memories for the lads to cherish.
